Yes, Keystone Light is now the official beer of NASCAR in Canada

Canadian fans, get prepared to see a lot of Keith Stone during NASCAR telecasts. Heck, he may become more ubiquitous than "You and me both, Junior."

NASCAR has signed a deal with Molson Coors Canada that makes Keystone Light -- as if the stereotypes that we have to deal with aren't enough already -- the official beer of NASCAR north of the border, as well as the official beer of the Canadian Tire Series.

This partnership includes a robust media component on TSN and TSN.ca comprised of spots, billboards and custom features in Sprint Cup, Nationwide and Canadian Tire broadcasts. The brand will also activate a national promotion featuring VIP race weekend experiences that bring Keystone Light drinkers up close and personal to the action on the race track.

But who voluntarily drinks Keystone Light? Let's be honest, the majority of NASCAR fans don't sit in front of the television drinking a Boulevard Pale Ale or a Dogfish Head 90 Minute IPA, but Keystone Light?

While we're at it, let's get Diet Rite to become the official diet soda of NASCAR. That'll show Coke Zero who's boss. And someone get Ace Hardware to become the official power tool retailer in Europe. That will immediately force Lowe's to re-up with Jimmie Johnson.
