Martin Truex Jr. goes pink

This weekend at Texas Motor Speedway, Martin Truex Jr. is running a special paint scheme honoring survivors and victims of breast cancer.

The car features the names of over 2,400 fans who, through donations made to the Susan G. Komen foundation, went on NAPA's website and added their name or the name of a family member to the car.

"They're all over the whole car. The car is blue and all the names are in pink and they actually got to pick what area of the car their name is going to be on," Truex said Thursday.

In addition to running the car, NAPA and Truex are also presenting a $250,000 check to the Susan G. Komen foundation at TMS.

Truex will also be wearing the pink and blue firesuit that he's worn all October for the final time. Would he wear a completely pink firesuit, a la Kyle Busch's Sponsafier firesuit?

"If they said they wanted it all pink, I'd probably do it," Truex said with a laugh. "But, I'm not going to mention it."
