?The holiday season is a time when we all need to do a little extra to help those in need,? said Darlington Raceway president Chris Browning. ?Toys for Tots is a great organization that helps thousands of area children in need each holiday season and we are happy to partner with them for this unique event.?

ROCKINGHAM, N.C. (Nov. 8, 2010) ? There is no bigger event for the Frank Kimmel Street Stock Nationals (FKSSN) than the Polar Bear 150 at Rockingham Speedway, and the popular race just got a little more exciting as Kurt Busch has announced he will compete in the third installment of the event on Saturday, November 27.
?What a tremendous honor it is to have NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion Kurt Busch come and compete with our racers at Rockingham Speedway,? said nine-time ARCA Racing Series champion and series founder, Frank Kimmel. ?I think it is a tremendous opportunity for our series with the amount of exposure that Kurt will bring to our race, but also for our drivers. He is coming to run well and win the race, I think that says something about him, but I also think that it says that our series is starting to build credibility. Hopefully this will improve the series, bring out more fans and add to the excitement of the race at Rockingham.?
The 2010 edition of the Polar Bear 150 will be the fourth race for the FKSSN at Rockingham Speedway but the first time the event will be held Thanksgiving weekend.  The event is one of the most anticipated races of the season and is held at a track that is not short on history or excitement.  The one-mile oval track was a long-time staple for the top levels of NASCAR and has seen legendary drivers such as Dale Earnhardt, Richard Petty, David Pearson and Jeff Gordon make their way to victory lane.
