Recapping the best rivalries and fights from 2010: Part Two

The second half of 2010 might have overshadowed the first half of the season because of recency and that whole thing between Jeff Gordon and Jeff Burton at Texas. However, there were some pretty good tussles besides Gordon and Burton.

After getting wrecked off the bumper of Jimmie Johnson at Pocono -- remember, this crash was the trigger to Elliott Sadler's violent impact with the guardrail -- Kurt Busch called the drivers at Hendrick Motorsports "pretty boys." Heck, he even included Kasey Kahne, who's not going to officially drive for HMS until 2012.

This feud actually started at New Hampshire when Busch and Johnson banged fenders going for the lead. That prompted Busch to say that he wanted to be the foil to Johnson's dominance, but that didn't really happen.

Busch then got together with Jeff Gordon at Martinsville:

Joey Logano and Ryan Newman got together at Michigan in another one of Logano's many run-ins. However, it seemed to be same-old same-old for Newman as well, who regularly gets complained about as one of the toughest drivers in the series to pass.

David Reutimann ruined Kyle Busch's chances at the championship at Kansas Speedway, but like Johnson and Busch, their run-in was sparked at an earlier race.

As Busch was completing the trifecta at Bristol in August, he beat Reutimann for the win in the Sprint Cup race. After the race, Busch said that if Reutimann drove the place correctly, he'd have a chance of beating Busch.

That didn't sit well with Reutimann, who exacted revenge after he went spinning off of Busch's bumper early in the race.

The main event at Texas Motor Speedway was the fight -- OK, it looked more like middle-schoolers arguing for the first time -- between Gordon and Burton:

But don't forget the undercard bout which may have been more entertaining, at least on the radio:

Kyle Busch was unhappy that he was held by NASCAR for speeding down pit road and let NASCAR know it.

Busch was in the thick of things again at Homestead when he got dumped by Kevin Harvick, who admitted as much after the race. Harvick and Busch had raced each other testily in the Nationwide race the day before, and the hard feelings carried over.

While it happened after Juan Pablo Montoya and Joey Logano got together, Busch and Harvick overshadowed what could be a great potential 2011 feud between the the No. 20 and No. 42.

Logano blamed Montoya for his crash and, with the encouragement of crew chief Greg Zipadelli, went out under caution after his car was repaired and ran into Montoya, forcing Montoya to the garage. Logano smartly stayed in his car as it underwent further repairs, while Montoya and Zipadelli hashed it out.
